My Autumn Garden: 2008

Yes, that's the remnants of the garden. We got a few sunflowers, and the zinnias are now looking OK, but we got no pumkins (despite the pretty vines) and hardly any tomatoes. It was a good try, though.

These tomato vines looked pretty, but again, very few tomatoes.

Beautiful! What is the bush with the little purple berries, 3rd pic from the top? There's one of those near my bus stop, and it's such a delight in the late fall to see that splash of color when all the other plants are shutting down for the winter.

I think your autumn garden is beautiful. I see you have roses still blooming. I have only mini- roses in pots, but they are in full bloom now. The rest of my sad little garden is gone except for the Montauk daisy and sedum.
